Tango, Bolero, Bossa Nova and beyond… Guillermo Rozenthuler and Javier Fioramonti have been playing together and sharing their passion for the rich music of South America for the last 15 years. They will take you on a journey to a late-night café in Buenos Aires…Guillermo and Javier invite you on a fun journey to uncover some of Argentine Tango’s most precious treasures…

Guillermo Rozenthuler  (vocals & guitar)

Charismatic Buenos Aires-born vocalist and guitarist Guillermo Rozenthuler has become one of the leading voices of Argentine Tango and South American song in the UK. A soulful singer and a versatile improviser, Guillermo’s original songs and his distinctive take on popular songs from Argentina and the rest of South America combine a profound understanding of his musical roots with fresh new approaches. Guillermo Rozenthuler is also an educator and resident of the UK since 2000. He’s been singing Argentine Tango and teaching vocalists and aficionados for over 20 years. He has a Masters in Musicology from SOAS (University of London) and he’s passionate about helping to deepen the understanding of Argentine Tango round the world, and providing a context to the songs that he performs.

Javier Fioramonti (guitar) 

JavierFioramonti2Born in Santa Fe Argentina, Javier is an accomplished tango guitarist, involved with the London tango scene since the historic Teddy Peiro quartet and for the past years he has toured the UK and Europewith Carlos Quilici and other prestigious tango projects. He is actively composing for De Wolfe, the oldest music production company based in London. His music is played regularly on the BBC and other TV channels, currently featuring in Dustin Hoffmann’s latest film, Quartet.
