“Corina Piatti’s guest appearance at Chelsea Arts Collective (CAC)  … worked like a charm. To her own skilful acoustic guitar accompaniment, Piatti sang with a warmly appealing mixture of emotional delicacy and strength. It was a pleasure to be in her company.” Donald Hutera (writer for The Times and CAC curator and co-founder)

Argentinian singer/songwriter and guitarist Corina Piatti presents an extensive portfolio of music from Tango and Bossa Nova to her own original compostions. She performs both as as a solo artist and with different ensembles. She has performed with artists of the like of Victor Villena on Bandoneon (ex Gotan Project), and the legendary Bandoneonist Rodolfo “Cholo” Montironi. Her own EP with original compositions entitled Calma was released earlier this year and she will be introducing some of these on the night.

Corina will be accompanied by Jorge Bravo, who is a guitarist, composer and producer From Chile, based in the UK since 2005. He has a notable music trajectory that includes work with Tomatito, Alec Dankworth, Mor Karbasi, amongst other greats of the European jazz and world music scene.

Together they will play a set of Latin American Folk music wherein Tango is a protagonist. Later on I am introducing the songs of my last release “calma” on voice and guitar.
